CAITLIN TINNION

Caitlin is from a rural village in the Wiltshire countryside. She studied Ba(Hons) Textile Design: Printed Textiles & Surface Pattern at Birmingham City University and went on to study bespoke tailoring at the Savile Row Academy, learning from the best tailors at Maurice Sedwell. Once the course was complete, Caitlin moved home and swiftly set up her workshop to create bespoke garment for friends and family, succeeded by building a client base through alterations and new projects. As she continues to work within tailoring, Caitlin also works on other textile design based projects to incorporate into her work and sit alongside it.

It's not all work for Caitlin as she loves to be outside too. Her two lurchers get her out locally as well as being a Scout leader, and her love of climbing, sailing and cycling take her further afield. All of this provides inspiration for her work in print design and new ideas for form and function in her garments.
